What inspired me. (Barcelona and back to London in one day)

I have been wondering what would get me back blogposting this year. To be very honest with you all I have been having a creative block for the past couple months. I needed to take a break, find myself and where I wanted to go this year with my blog and my instagram.

In an age and era where all as been done and there are millions of people on the blog community, it is kind of hard to stand out and find what you want to be and want to portray. Having taken a break, I feel its been great to take myself out of the picture (no pun intended) and research the ins and outs of what it is to be a blogger, and find out what I wanted to do.

I’m an instagram person (I don’t like the word influencer - if anything I like to say I’m a content creator) and I love my work on the platform, but I want to be more than just that. I want to create a relationship with my following and let them inside my life a little bit more, letting you get to know more about my fashion and lifestyle choices.

I decided to write this when me and my friends decided to take a spontaneous trip to Barcelona to mix up the scene and get the creative block out of the way. We booked the flights the night before, flying out to Barcelona and returning the same day. With less than 10 hours in Barcelona, I pack my bag, camera gear and outfits set to get a good amount of content for my blog and for my Instagram page.

So we scout the web for the best places to shoot in Barcelona and off we went. This photo is the first in my Barcelona series!

For this photos in specific I wanted something urban looking and very cosmopolitan.  We found this street just behind Barcelona cathedral that was just perfect for what I wanted.

These Borg  looking jackets and sweaters are everywhere. They are a big trend this year for both men and women, so I could not say no to this black jacket from @boohooman when I saw it on the website. This jacket inspired this entire outfit. The good part is that it cost me a fraction of the price of the ones from @newlook @topman. I pair it with a black T and these biker jeans with distressed knees from @HM, throw a necklace on top and a couple of rings to accessorise. Since we have an all black outfit, I paired it with my chunky @FILA trainer (completely makes the outfit) and there you go: you have a casual street wear look that is super comfortable.

Now is your turn, tell what keeps you going, and what you need to be inspired.
