Chino Mania
Chinos are the summer trend of the year.
While the chino hit back last year, this summer they have really come in to trend. Insta feeds are currently full of influencers wearing chinos, displaying the full range of colours, patterns and styles.
The great thing about chinos is their versatility. They can be worn as part of a more formal outfit accompanying a shirt, belt and classic shoe, or (my particular favourite) as part of a casual look, rolled up with a simple tucked in T and a pair of trainers. It’s one of the trends that I have personally been wearing so often - I didn't even notice it becoming such a fundamental part of my wardrobe.
I understand that many of you may not feel comfortable enough wearing a pair of chinos as part of a casual look. The fear around looking too dressed up going to a mate's house or down the pub is real! But styled in the right way, chinos can give you a clean cut, casual look that can make you feel comfortable in your own skin. Chinos are part of an outfit upgrade!
Comfortable and light, they are ideal for summer evenings and can look super stylish...when well ironed!
In the current climate, wearing trousers of any type may be a no go, no matter how light and airy! We are in the super high summer season and the weather is probably the hottest it has been in years (in the UK at least). So don't shy away from the chino short! Perfect for a casual occasion where you still want to feel the breeze.
I have plenty of chinos which you can see in the shoots above. If you're stuck for ideas on how to style your chinos, use the shots for your own inspiration. Don't be afraid to have a look on websites such as @Boohooman. Chinos from these retailers are great quality, but won't break the bank. Casual fashion should be affordable! Check out the the link down below to see what they have to offer.
